How we research and review tools

How the ReelDrop blog researches Instagram tools, discloses that ReelDrop is ours, and handles corrections.

The ReelDrop blog compares Instagram tools, and ReelDrop is one of them. This page explains how those posts get written, so you can judge them for yourself.

How we research

Most of our comparisons are desk research. We read each vendor's pricing page, help docs and API documentation, and we note the date we checked. Prices change often, so each post says when we last checked and links to the vendor's own page.

We only say we tested a tool when we used it on a real account. In that case the post shows screenshots, the date of the test and what happened. If a post doesn't show those, treat it as desk research.

ReelDrop is our product

Piyush Sachdeva, who writes these posts, built ReelDrop. Every post that includes ReelDrop says so near the top. We try to rank it where it fits, and we say when another tool is the better choice.

Nobody pays to be listed

No company pays us to be included or ranked, and we don't use affiliate links. If that ever changes, the link will be marked as sponsored and the post will say so.

Updates and corrections

We change a post's "Updated" date only when its content changes. If you spot a wrong price, a feature that has changed, or anything else that's off, email piyush@reeldrop.io. We check it against the vendor's own page, fix the post, and add a short note at the bottom saying what changed and when.
