1. the program
the reeldrop referral program (the “program”) is operated by 10517933 Canada Ltd. (operating as reeldrop.io, “reeldrop”, “we”). every reeldrop account holder gets a personal referral link. by participating you agree to these terms, our terms of service, and our privacy policy.
this program is separate from the creator rewards program. a single signup is never credited to both.
2. what each side gets
when someone signs up through your link and subscribes to a monthly plan (creator or influencer):
- they get 50% off their first month. it is applied at checkout — there is no code to enter.
- you get a coupon for 50% off one month of your own plan.
if the person you referred buys a yearly or lifetime plan instead, they get no discount — the coupon is one monthly cycle at half price, and a yearly invoice has no such cycle. you still earn your coupon: it is still a paid signup.
3. who qualifies as a referral
only a brand-new reeldrop account qualifies, and only when the account is created after the link is clicked. existing account holders who click a referral link are not referrals, and no reward is earned for them.
a referral does not qualify where:
- the two accounts belong to the same person, reach the same inbox, or share a payment method;
- the new account uses a temporary or disposable email address;
- the same person has already earned you a reward once;
- you are on a yearly or lifetime plan. the coupon can only be spent on a monthly cycle, so those plans are outside the program;
- an earlier referral link — from this program or the creator program — was clicked first. attribution is first-touch: the first link wins.
4. how your coupons are spent
coupons stack, and they are applied for you. four paid signups mean your next four monthly invoices are 50% off, one after another. nothing has to be entered and your renewal dates do not move.
if you earn coupons before you are paying for anything, they are held on your account and applied to the first monthly plan you buy.
a coupon can only be spent on the plan it was earned on. changing plans — upgrading to yearly or lifetime, moving between creator and influencer, or scheduling a downgrade — ends the run. unspent coupons stay on your account and are not applied to the new plan; they can be spent again if you return to the plan they were earned on.
coupons have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credited to another account.
5. limit
you can earn up to 12 coupons in any rolling 365-day period. referrals beyond that limit do not earn a coupon, though the person you referred still gets their discount.
6. when a reward can be reversed
a coupon is granted as soon as the person you referred subscribes, before their payment has fully settled. we reverse it if, within 30 days, they refund, charge back, or never complete a real payment. reversal takes one coupon back — from your unspent balance where there is one, otherwise by shortening the discount already running. rewards are not reversed for ordinary cancellations after that window.
7. abuse
creating accounts to refer yourself, buying signups, or otherwise manufacturing referrals is a breach of these terms. we may withhold or reverse rewards, and suspend accounts, where we reasonably believe the program is being gamed.
8. changes and termination
we may modify, suspend, or end the program at any time by updating this page. rewards already granted before a change are honored. referrals that convert after the program ends do not qualify.
9. governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of the province of ontario and the federal laws of canada applicable therein. where required by local law (including quebec), participation may be limited or adjusted to comply.
