Every post you schedule lands on the calendar with its time and its status: draft, scheduled, published, or failed. A glance tells you what is going out this week and where the gaps are, which beats scrolling a flat list and counting on your fingers.

Published posts keep their permalink on the calendar, so you can confirm something went live without opening Instagram, and a failed post stays visible as failed rather than quietly disappearing.

Fill the gaps from the same screen

Spot a hole in the week, open the composer, and schedule something into it: a reel, a carousel from the AI builder, or a quick photo post. The calendar and the scheduler are the same screen, so you never bounce between tabs to find out what is already booked.

If you post at the same times every week, set your posting days and slots once in settings. ReelDrop then offers the next open slot when you schedule, so filling a gap is one click rather than a date-picker decision.

Publishing happens on its own

Once a post is on the calendar, ReelDrop publishes it at the set time through the official Instagram API. There is no reminder notification and no manual step. Your part of the job ends when the calendar is full.

The earliest slot is five minutes from now, which prevents the classic mistake of scheduling into the past. In the other direction there is no meaningful limit, so mapping a whole month is fine.

Week and month views

The calendar has week and month views. The week view is the working view, the one you use while filling slots; the month view is the one that shows you that all four teasers landed on the same Tuesday.

For how the profile will look, the grid planner shows the same posts as a 3-column Instagram grid on top of your published feed. The calendar answers when; the grid answers how it will read to a visitor.

Seeing it on the calendar exposes that all four teasers were accidentally on the same Tuesday and that launch day itself had nothing booked after 9 am. Both are two-minute fixes on a calendar and expensive mistakes in a flat list.

A brand with two people and no shared inbox

A two-person coffee brand loads the month in one afternoon: product shots, a carousel about the new roast, a reel from the roastery. Nobody has to remember to post on the day a shipment goes wrong, and neither of them has to ask the other what is going out on Friday, because the calendar answers it.

Managing more than one account
